NADTI CONFERENCE

The National Association of Dental Traders, Inc. recently conducted its 7th annual exhibition and meeting at the Philippine Trade and Training Center in Pasay City. Held last October 8-11, the event carried the theme "Dental Confidence Grows with the Nation's Resilient Economy."

The four-day event featured a myriad of activities including seminars on various dental-related topics such as the inter-relationship of priodontics and prosthodontics and the prosthetic rehabilitation of the cleft palate. Attended by the biggest dental traders in the country, the objective of the event was to introduce the country's dental-health professionals the latest and the best equipment and services in the industry. By showcasing what's new in dental health technology, NADTI members hope to update the knowledge of Filipinos practicing the profession, help them better serve their patients and consequently, aid in energizing the economy.

During the event, NADTI, led by is president Dr. Arnold Azarraga, also honored the organization's partners.

The exhibit and meeting's roster of guests included representatives from big companies such as Wrigley Philippines, UNILAB and the Lamoiyan Corporation. Another guest was Honorable Vilma S. Recto, mayor of Lipa City, one of the beneficiaries of NADTI's charity projects.

The NADTI, with support from the Philippine Dental Association, was officially formed in the year 2000. Its mission is to "foster cooperation among traders and create a healthier and sustainable business environment for all member companies", become the country's "reputed source of modern materials, instruments and equipment" and be a "source of growth and advancement in the field of dentistry and all its specializations."

The organization currently counts 60 dental companies as members.

The National Association of Dental Traders, Inc. is headed by its president, Dr. Arnold A. Azarraga.
