The National Association of Dental Traders, Inc. recently conducted its
7th annual exhibition and meeting at the Philippine Trade and Training Center in Pasay City.
Held last October 8-11, the event carried the theme "Dental Confidence Grows with the
Nation's Resilient Economy."
The four-day event featured a myriad of activities including seminars on
various dental-related topics such as the inter-relationship of priodontics and
prosthodontics and the prosthetic rehabilitation of the cleft palate. Attended by the
biggest dental traders in the country, the objective of the event was to introduce the
country's dental-health professionals the latest and the best equipment and services in
the industry. By showcasing what's new in dental health technology, NADTI members hope
to update the knowledge of Filipinos practicing the profession, help them better serve
their patients and consequently, aid in energizing the economy.
During the event, NADTI, led by is president Dr. Arnold Azarraga,
also honored the organization's partners.
The exhibit and meeting's roster of guests included representatives
from big companies such as Wrigley Philippines, UNILAB and the Lamoiyan Corporation.
Another guest was Honorable Vilma S. Recto, mayor of Lipa City, one of the beneficiaries
of NADTI's charity projects.
The NADTI, with support from the Philippine Dental Association, was
officially formed in the year 2000. Its mission is to "foster cooperation among traders
and create a healthier and sustainable business environment for all member companies",
become the country's "reputed source of modern materials, instruments and equipment" and
be a "source of growth and advancement in the field of dentistry and all its
specializations."
The organization currently counts 60 dental companies as members.
The National Association of Dental Traders, Inc. is headed by its president,
Dr. Arnold A. Azarraga.
